“People of both parties generally admire and are nice to Obama the man. ”
DCB- what planet are you on? Sorry but a reading of the news over the last 2 years will prove you wrong. How about the Republican senator who called him a liar in his first SOTU?
Not worth discussing this further. We won’t agree.
I find it incredible that people think that Obama is a good leader when the country has become more split, and radically so, than it has ever been except maybe during the Vietnam War days.
BHS- that is true but leadership is a quality that even the experienced don’t always have. McCain never got it. Palin as a leader was frightful. Bush was a disaster- and he had plenty of experience. I don’t believe experience, when it comes to politics, is an indication of how good a leader someone will be. Too often its an indication of ties to pacs, special interests, and big money. I find very few politicians have their first loyalties to their constituents.
“Not talking about his legislation- talking about how he has been treated.”
bxgrl, that makes even less sense than your last statement. Who do you think has been mistreating the President?
The press used to make fun of Gerald Ford for being a Klutz. That was a little bit mean, but really no big deal. People of both parties generally admire and are nice to Obama the man. It is his legislative agenda, particularly health care, that has drawn criticism. That hardly counts as mistreatment.
I think if people had more buttsecks there’s be less bickering over politics.
Could talk about men’s breasts but I wouldn’t recommend it:

I do think BAAPS is a great name for a plastic surgeons’ organization though.
Cgar- you forgot women’s breasts, buttsecks, bedbugs and the financial market.

If DeLepp would post more REPOTD we’d have something better to talk about.
OH, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, CAN’T YOU PEOPLE FIND ANYTHING FUN AND ENTERTAINING TO TALK ABOUT ANYMORE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
Guns, abortion, Obama. Like a record player on perpetual repeat. Day in and day out.
The policy I’m drafting is less boring and tedious.
DOUBLE SHEESH!!!!!
