  1. Re: Egypt?
Don’t these protesters have jobs? I think about myself in the event that scores of people starting protesting in NYC against the gov’t – what would I do? tell my job to shove it and hit the streets?? am just curious – my thoughts are employment must be very high there to have this sort of response of protesters in the streets

I have two friends in Cairo. One just had a baby and one is a journalist.
    🙁

oh ET am sorry – are they americans living there or Egyptians?

  4. okay seriously why are we telling egypt what to do and why do we care that they are protesting? would we like it if nosey ass busy body countries got all up in our business telling us to stop when there were protests in this country? let it play out! it’s really none of our damn business. i am pretty sure this is why 90 percent of the planet hates us.. because are a bunch of busy bodies!! that part of the world is highly primative, it has to be allowed to grow or perish on its own without interference!!!

  5. Gem, after many years without a car and schlepping stuff home on the bus from Pathmark at Atlantic Center, that’s what I love about having a car. We live extremely modestly and I have to shop sales. Can’t really do that on the bus or train without spending ridiculous hours revisiting stores and schlepping home what I could carry. This way I can go once a week and get it all.

  6. Ok- tell me this. How stupid do you have to be to run a car ad (VW Jetta) showing Donald O’Connor and Gene Kelly inside, dancing to a song with the words, “I’m a bomb, I’m about to blow up?” I mean -really how f**king stupid do you have to be?
