Unfortunately, Donatella may be in a very bad place. Her insurance company, per the contract, will first handle any liability issues. Many insurance scammers know the right “strike price”: the maximum claim at which many insurance companies will make the decision “it’s not worth it to pursue in court”. They will find some fraud doctor to back up their claim (and the doctor gets a cut of the settlement). The insurance company will settle. Donatella will then be hit with a higher insurance bill.
Ok, this is what happened. Little scrapy scrapy. Oh nuts I am thinking…..he is honking, we both pull over. He gets out looks at it, looking for fight….hey, I know what that looks like and don’t engage…just pleasant. Sure, we’ll call 911. Then, the way it goes is that the police look at us, look at the damage (nothing), take our license registration and insurance, pictures and then contact the insurance company. We, the accident people, aren’t supposed to talk to one another. The police contact the insurance company, the insurance company contacts us. So the entire report comes from the police. They see that this is a teensy event. How bodily harm could possibly fit into this scenario is beyond me and hopefully GEICO who takes care of his insurance too.

I do not even have this man’s name.
dibs- we got mail today.
I got mail.
DIBS – When it snowed in December, my post office said there was no mail delivery because the mail trucks were not running.
Dona, you got post #600 in the middle of Lech trying to get it.
“”How many car service rides can you take for the cost of all of that?”
That, parking and maintenance, and being afraid of jackasses on the road are some reasons why I don’t drive.
Was it a Federal holiday today????????? Why no mail?????? More union incompetence and sloughing off.
I have to admit I like having the use of my neighbor’s car – the one I move for alt side. I doubt it costs very much – ’84 VW.
