i am here because sometimes people post funny or insightful comments, and other times i am here because i can’t believe some of the moron nimbyism displayed in posts, other times i just like to annoy rob because i think he asks for it and likes the attention.
and more than any other reason i am here for the moonfaces.
I have a renovation question. I have some heart pine floors that are probably 70 years old. They are in great shape, have a yellow tone that has developed over the years that I usually wouldn’t like, but I do. They’ve been lightly sanded. Then I have the same floors that were tiled and had to be drum sanded down. I tried to mix up a stain to match them, but wasn’t successful so now I need to stain them all I guess. I know the lightly sanded and drum sanded won’t match, but I’m done sanding. Anyone have advice or a stain they like? I think I want something that doesn’t make a statement. Early American? English Chestnut?
TextperV, how come I never get a “<3” from you?
i invented the OT
Oh please, ET, don’t encourage her.

Thank you for the comic relief, randi. You show up every few days to kick somebody in the shin, then run off.

My point is that YOU seem comfortable enough to come in here and chat. So why wouldn’t anyone else? It’s a public place. Loser.
