  1. Kodak and Fuji were the same w neg and E6 film, Kodachrome was a whole different process. Last lab to process Kodachrome just closed recently.

Still some market for these old film cameras but a lot depends on condition. Probably $100 for a mint perfectly working model. A lot less for a banged up one. Canon lenses holding value much better, did you get a 50 1.8 or a 50 1.4?

I could put it on ebay for you if it works. Sex or cookies, I’ll take either.

  2. Wow – I am in marketing too – and did a effin amazing job on the last 2 albums I worked so much so that the albums sold the most ww for the company…..
the problem is the finance/bean counter types who think the world revolves around them!

  3. Re Jeter’s pad, where’s the batting cage?

I was in some of the apts in that building before it opened and didn’t like them cuz the windows had SO MUCH tint on them. Plus I hate where you can’t really open the windows.

Here’s a shot from the roof of that building, looking down at the UN.

That’s also one of a couple of buildings that have a tuned mass damper, as it is so tall and slender it would sway in the wind.

  4. I thought Kodak and Fuji were pretty much the same, anyway, when I used my 35mm a lot.

Speaking of which, it’s a great old Canon AE-1. Should/could I sell it? Would I get anything for it?

  5. Gladiator is one of my fave movies.

“My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, Commander of the Armies of the North, General of the Felix Legions, loyal servant to the true emperor, Marcus Aurelius. Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.”

  6. “when they can reach out by osmosis and grasp just about anything they want? They’re likely to come home from the store without the most important item on the grocery list, be cause they can’t be bothered with remembering what is, to them, non-essential.”

Reach out by osmosis and find your way on the street then, and stop getting LOST!!!!
