I attended a week-long herbal medicine course in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts when I was 14. The instructor was some hippie whose husband was an astrologer. There were two other students, both women in their 40s. One of them was a homeopathic “doctor” from Boston. When she described the basis for homeopathy to me I had a very hard time keeping a straight face. This is back when I had long hair and spent a lot of time in the woods learning how to live off of wild foods.

jeez – 500+ posts before 5pm? did we solve any of the world’s problems today?!

haha – problem was my boss who was making well over $500K a year was let go too! oh well
