You know what has really piqued my interest DIBS – there is a bunch of research going on right now on wheat that can be grown in VT soil and environment. I would love to have a small wheat crop for personal consumption.

My friends have a lot of land here and one of them cuts and sells wood. $250 for a full cord. Like most rural republicans, he has his own Kubota tractor.
We went down in the root cellar last night to get the vegetables for dinner…home grown potatoes (varieties) rutabagas, beets, onions (4 varieties) and carrots. The shelves of preserves had peaches, apples, blackberries, raspberries and tomatoes.
I’m baking the bread for tonight and tomorrow. All too, too domestic!!!!!
