As I said earlier, I respect the privacy of these people.

    And revealing a first name is going to lead to what??? I don’t buy it. Some people are paranoid and neurotic, that’s all.

    Jackal, as my sister likes to say, “It’s not always about you” (and I don’t mean “you” per se). While some people may be comfortable revealing their names and other personal details, others may not be, but it isn’t necessarily because they are being coy. As rf and bxgrl pointed out, some people have good reason to be extra careful, especially in their online life, based on bad prior experiences they may have had, such as with stalkers, or out of concern for their kids or families. As I said earlier, I respect the privacy of these people.
