it’s funny vermont is like one of the FEW places ive been to that far from the nyc metro area (went on a HORRIBLE ski trip and was bored out of my mind for three days. i had no internet access and i was too afraid to actually ski) but anyway, did try what everyone said was the real deal maple syrup and i was not impressed one bit. give me my mrs. butterworth and aunt jemima anyday. yeah im sure it’s made up crap but the real deal organic maple syrup tasted so blah. maybe i just had a bad batch of it something tho

during the last snow storm, as I was working like a dog
shoveling, I realized that it is very difficult to get a good quality snow shovel.
What the hell!
I’ve gone through 4 shovels in the last 5 years. I swear they’re made to break after a few uses. I examined one closely and I realized that these pieces o’shit are made to the minimum manufacturing standards with thin metal, cheap plastic and held together with a single screw.
Planned obsolescence.
This week I’m buying one of those old style snow shovels with a wooden handle that last for 30 years.
