WOW…that’s a real dilemma. Do you go with the 8-10 so that you’re assured of getting the 8″ or do you opt for the 7-14 where you might only get 7″ but you could wind up with the monster 14″

hahah that is quite the dilemma

    *rob*

  2. I thought vacuums were disposable. Last time I broke the vacuum, which was the first time I ever used it, I just bought a new one (Dyson ball vacuum cleaner…highly recommend it).

  3. Biffo, so eggspectation is no bueno? I heard it’s really good. FWIW, I really liked the breakfast in Schwartz’s. We ate breakfast there every morning (it was close to the hotel and cheap).

  4. slopey, totally wrong about organic maple syrup.

Organic means grown organically under applicable standards.

Maple syrup is maple syrup. It comes from maple trees.

Aunt Jemima is not maple syrup as it has nothing to do with maple trees.

In any event you could have organic corn syrup and add organic flavoring and have an organic aunt jemima like product.

Of course all maple syrup is labeled organic – that’s because all maple syrup *is* organic. It’s a completely meaningless label because maple syrup comes from maple trees that just grow in the woods. You don’t put pesticides on them or fertilize them.

It’s like calling wild caught salmon organic. I mean, duh.

  5. Dave, we had HoJo’s and Friendly’s, too . . . and we’ve talked about Friendly’s here before: Nothing beats a Fribble (coffee or chocolate, or occasionally strawberry) and incredible Butter Crunch or Black Raspberry ice cream.

Great burgers, fries, and (shut up, Snappy) grilled cheese & tuna, too.
