I’m loving how all the atheists and agnostics of varying religious backgrounds are arguing the fine points of religious practice concerning godparents.
As jessi once pointed out to me, if you remove jews, lawyers and gays from the OT, there won’t be many of you left. If you removed any remaining agnostics and atheists, too, the numbers would be even smaller.
-actually could we try that one day on the OT?
I think it would be fun to isolate each poster
maybe not my ethnicity but by geography??? thoughts? ha!
I was trying to cut and paste one piece of the Slopey OT demographic comment about gays, agnostics and lawyers and I went back to the beginning of time.
I am not part of the primary demographic as defined above.
By the way, I love classic saint names and many Irish girls get Mary as part of the name which I like:
Mary Pat
Mary Clare
Mary Anne
Mary Grace
Mary Agnes
etc. etc.
Rob, Mary Montrose is no worse than Mother Montrose. Both bring up visions of nun’s habits, and almost like any good actor, I played on on stage. I was the Mother Superior in the Sound of Music, as well as the Puccini opera Suour Angelica. Don’t make me swat you with my ruler.
