I think long hair can look good on older women, but they have to have the right features.
My wife would never let me have a beard, mustache, or other facial hair now, but when I was in college I went almost a year without cutting my hair and 6 months without shaving.
I looked like a scarier version of Grizzly Adams.

I have noticed an exception with elderly native-American women. They all seem to look wonderful with long hair but I don’t know why that is true (what criteria, facial structure? overall something?).

prezanon- high cheekbones, but again, broad generalizations aren’t worth a whole lot. Everyone is an individual and looks vary .
