My son is in 4th grade, so I can still figure out most of his homework. It is a bit embarrassing when I have to admit I do not remember all of my geometry definitions.
Most of the help he needs is occasional supervision to make sure he is actually doing it and encouragement for the parts he finds tough.
“We normally split things pretty evenly, but when she was out of work for a month she had more free time so she took on a greater share.”
That sounds fair to me. I only work p/t, but I try to take on more of the chores since my BH is taking on more of the bills. When I go back full-time, we’ll go back to splitting everything 50/50.

I’ve heard that about you, too.”
Why do I suddenly feel like we aren’t talking about snow here? : P

The snow storm is now coming Friday afternoon, just in time for rush hour.
Four inches are expected.

I don’t recall my parents, or my friends’ parents, helping us with our homework. Granted, that was back in the stone age . . .
lechacal, we have yet to actually meet BHS. We don’t know if he’s smart or not. So I’ll reserve judgement on his ability to help with homework.
Also, if his child is in any grade lower than 5th, most adults can still be helpful!!!!
Work PC, m4l. And I’m back at my bad desk today. Ugh.
You help your kid with homework???
