  1. “yeah i dont know if i agree with jessi either. i very much enjoy it when the other person pokes fun at themself. maybe she means, like you shouldnt do it on the first date without coming across like a clown?”

Yes, exactly. Of course you should be able to poke fun at yourself once you know the person! But, when talking about initial meetings, I don’t want to hear someone put themselves down, no matter the tone. CGar, for example, what if you made fun of your ear and the chick hadn’t noticed?

  2. Kids are scared of clowns.

DH, self deprecating humor seemed to work for Hugh Grant, but for most people, no. (then again he consorted with hookers in the back of cars….oh never mind)

no dona, i have a super soft leather sofa. it’s SO comfortable to just fall into it and sleep. it’s 10x more comfy than any mattress ive ever slept on. EVER!

    Perfect for ONE.

  4. I never come across as a clown. (Plus which clowns are super creepy and scare the bejesus out of me, almost as much as balloons, and there is NOTHING worse than a clown WITH balloons. But I digress.) My humour is Noel Cowardesque.

  5. The snowstorm out of the midwest is moving much faster now. It’ll likely start tonight but it doesn’t look like a massive thing that’ll dump a lot on us. There’s a chance it’ll be largely north of NYC but expect tomorrow to be messy.
