rob, that’s not out of whack for a high end office in Manhattan
except that it’s in park slope! but maybe they charge so much to finance their cheese and cracker and sunglass designer parties they often seem to be having in there. screw them, thanks rf, gonna check out that place on my lunch hour
Former NYT food critic Sheraton disses Brooklyn – sounds like DIBS:
“I’m from Brooklyn, but it would take a lot to get me there for dinner. When Lundy’s was Lundy’s, I’d be there. When Gargiulo’s was Gargiulo’s, I went. I certainly went to Gage and Tollner. There were one-of-a-kind things there, but so far anywhere I’ve been to there has not been worth the trip from Manhattan. I haven’t been to Al di la, because you have to wait on line, and I’m not going to Brooklyn to wait on line…The Times has certainly been very exaggerated in its Brooklyn coverage, because most of them live there.”
I’d have to agree with her. Also, Philly is a far, far better dining scene than Brooklyn.
…just checking in [looks around nervously,…..] doesn’t look like I need to defend the garbagemen today, thank god. that was getting old….
Rick Scott, the new republican Governor of Florida, will soon be getting the same press that Christie has generated.

I don’t want a scene when dining. I want good food and quiet atmosphere.
Mimi’s been watching Brian Williams, it seems.
Meanwhile, jb @ 11:07 — well played. hanging out on OT is like living in a sitcom, and sometimes the writing/timing of the gags is just perfect.

Rob, that’s Park Slope Eye – you’d hate it in there.
