Had a big family gathering on New Year’s Day. It was “beat the clock” from Thursday when I dug the car out of a literal mountain of snow, snowdrifts near kitchen door, sidewalks…then shopping, cooking, the usual guests that didn’t leave till they saw the whites of my eyes……
So yesterday I woke up — scratchy throat, and so stiff from all the digging snow that I stayed home and slept the whole day yesterday. Got to get back to the gym.
so yeah, snappy was right, i totally did get lost trying to make it grand army plaza on new years eve with my dog. i walked waaaaaaay too far and then i got so frustrated and said screw it and came back home.
then this weekend me and my friend went to some bar and i gave a tarot reading to some chick and her boyfriend wanted to beat the living daylights out of me and my friend, her girlfriend luckily restrained him. it was surreal and totally wtf? what is wrong with people? and why do people always want to beat me up all the time? i am pure innocence and confrontational.
2011 ugh. looks like another year of being misunderstood
