DCB, I dont play big $$$ at the casinos. it’s more of hanging out with some buddies – kill some time here and there (slots, roulette, poker). I actually spend lots of time feeding eyes as borgota usually have good eye candy
The only govt union I really have an issue with is the teachers. They are really off the walls. I know there are some great teachers, but the UFT is a disgrace.
I read over the weekend an article that said unionized city employees salaries are on a par with or slightly less than their counterparts in the private sector. Where they do better is in benefits. As far as teachers go- after hearing stories from my sister and brother-in-law, I think they deserve combat pay.

NYC teacher salaries are much lower than NJ or LI.

M4L, a high roller like you should be helicoptered to the Bahamas and totally comped.
Or maybe flown to Monte Carlo.
Personally, I don’t see casinos as gambling, since I am completely familiar with the odds.
Prefer games where the future outcomes are truly unknown. Like the financial markets.
Or skilled base games like Chess.
This is not the kind of thing one wants to learn about his mistress by reading it in a public chat room.
It seems to be something that goes on a lot in Park Slope.
sports-wise, we in NY currently have no bragging chips over Philly – unless we like to yap that our basketball team is better.
Well, the Giants are done – but the Jets looked downright filthy yesterday.
