I love owning nothing that requires maintenance and upkeep.

As the saying goes “If its got tits or tires, it’s gonna give you trouble.”

  2. Dona, do you know what we used to do back on the farm when dogs would either get terminally ill or become dangerous to livestock or human children?

We would take them out behind the barn and feed them a .45 caliber sandwich.

You do it while petting them and saying nice things to them so they have a happy ending.

OK, off to meetings. Later people.

  3. Yeah – I’ve got about 10 pairs of shoes – but when I’m done with them – I throw them out. But I will revise:

I love owning nothing that requires maintenance and upkeep.

  4. Ditto for Costco’s. They replace tires, no question asked, if you come back with a flat tire. (Slightly less than full cost if the tread is worn.) All you pay is sales tax on the new tire. You can bring the car in, shop, and come back to new, installed tire.

  5. Lech, I heard this mawkish TV commercial for saving abused animals with Roberta Flack’s “First time ever I saw your face” in the background at least twice as slow as the original song, sung like a funeral dirge. Everybody even the animals in the commercial had these big depressed eyes and the voice overs were whining. I know animal abuse is serious, but it was so drippingly, sickeningly, santimoniously, sentimental and whiny, I started to laugh thinking of YOU LECH and how you would react.

    What is happening to me?
