  1. “I hope those sanit workers had a window cracked all night in that car or they would be dead of CO poisoning, no?”

No, not at all. That’s only true if you’re sitting in an enclosed space like a garage. These guys got their asses busted fair and sqare.

  2. “health care will be priced as a luxury good.” It’s priced like that now.

I hope those sanit workers had a window cracked all night in that car or they would be dead of CO poisoning, no? We’ll see if this story becomes an “urban legend” or turns out to be true. From the Post- I don’t trust anything they say until it’s corroborated.

  3. Sup people. Late to the party. Happy New Year everyone!

Lech, that F train station is the one I use daily. I’ve been raving the whole week last week that Kensington never got cleaned. Snow kinda melted starting Friday. It was pretty bad out there. Now I knew why.

Denton, if you HAVE to go to AC, best place to stay is Borgata BUT watch out for bedbugs. Lots of articles out there saying that Atlantic City is infested (so is every hotel there). I usually go and stay for free as a couple of my friends are real big time gamblers and was going to go Christmas week but because of bedbugs, we canceled on going.

Also what people didn’t mention about the casinos is the constantly pump much higher oxygen levels than needed in the casinos so when you play during the night (or even day) you’re never sleepy and want to go back. You’ll notice that you tend to not see people yawning, even at 3 or 4 am when playing at tables.

  4. Lately, I have had fantasies of living in a studio lined with bookshelves. Enough room for what I own and no work. Somebody else shovels and fixes leaks. The thought goes away quickly though.

  5. hey biff,
    welcome back.
physical therapy can certainly be of great benefit,
especially for post-operative, post-trauma return to function.
Brooklyn and Queens however, have scores of shady “therapy centers” which specialize in picking the taxpayer’s pockets one rub down at a time.

    lech,
that doesn’t sound good for New York’s Strongest,
a Brooklyn Councilwoman is head of the sanitation committee and she ain’t happy. Let’s hope they get
    to the bottom of it.
