Benson, for the most part, we don’t need more processing power. We have enough. I would follow that up by saying it’s the software that needs work but actually…it’s fine. Thanks to the Internet, everything is working fine and we hardly need to buy any installable software anymore. High tech is just becoming invisible, part of the air we breathe. Which means there’s not as much money in it any more.
Which is not to dissuade you from fiber optics or anything. But I mean the big picture.
When my sister was about five she once pressed a big, red, shiny, pretty button when she was visiting HP. Shut down their mainframe. Oops!
bxgrl – ours was a total handful on leash, and our trainer’s positive reward-based approach has REALLY worked. The whole Dog Whisperer negative thing did not help her AT ALL. If a burglar offered to chase her round the couch all our earthly goods would be gone, for sure.
