I assume you are an American with an American passport, you may have quite a difficult time landing a vacation home in Yemen, unless you are sponsored by a US multinational or government agency or the World Bank. Yemen while not Iraq or Libya , is ruled by Islamic law. If you are an outsider, life is not as simple as you might imagine.
You want to buy a place that looks like that, look to Morocco ( not too hard to find RE there ) or the Costa Brava of Spain or Greece. I’ve been to all 3, fun livin’.
biff, before jumping at that hot deal, note that the dept. of state has a travel warning for americans. might not be the oasis you hope for, but the food is good.
I was trying to find real estate listing there, but didn’t have much luck. Challenging others to see if they can tell us what one can get for a nice home in Yemen.
