Brooklyn Couch, you stand alone on Sarah Palin. On this site even the most conservative of conservatives would not say what you say. You are allowed to be “conservative” and clearly observe empirical reality.

oh GTFOH with that. yes, ideally a kid should have a mom and a dad, but we dont live in a utopia. lots of kids have a mom and a dad but one of both is totally vacant anyway. funny cuz almost every person i know who grew up with a traditional mother and father seem a tad screwy in the head these days but most people i know who were raised by just a mother or some other “not traditional” upbringing seem just fine. i do think tho that a male role model is important in a kid’s life (both male and female), but those can be found anywhere if the mom puts a little effort into it.

Palin should be appointed Secretary of the combined Interior/Energy Department (we need to combine them and cut the size of both).
It’s possible that by 2020, Palin would be a great President, but it’s too early to tell. She is very smart, but, in effect, she needs more experience, including in a national position.
It’s also fantastic that Palin makes you lefties and liberals freakout–but that’s not enough.
Every conservative is eventually stupid or DANGEROUS in the leftist/liberal mind: Goldwater, Reagan, etc. It’s a child’s/leftist’s/Democrat’s reaction to confronting an adult.
