  1. Really, I would be worried 24/7. You know that you have to raise kids to be solid people, trustworthy, help to give them solid values and then just trust that they are going to make the right choices….but even just dealing with police takes special skills. Sometimes, it is one false move, and these kids are toast. I grew up loving cops, they were my uncles, cousins, a cop’s orientation was to help me like a family member. Most cops are great, but not everybody and black boys have special problems in that department…

  2. Donna – there was an ounce of weed in he car as well. The car was not his and he was not driving. The owner of the car (a white kid) had a good lawyer. I don’t know the all the details, just what the mother told us when she came to church. I am guessing the charge was intent to sell or distribute, not sure.

  3. donna, agreeance, but you will get a lot of slack for that comment im sure. not by black women who are dealing with it, but pooshy booshy white women and men, so far removed from the reality, that youd think they were the ones high on the coinage.
