Ever since I bought my first house in 1985, I’ve always had a W/D in my place, except for when I moved to NYC. I got sick and tired of that setup, one of the many reasons I bought the house in Brooklyn
I found a package on my inside stairs (where the tenants leave my mail) last night. Luckily the tenanrs were home to receive it. I told my bother NOT to send anything to the house. if the tenants weren’t there, that package would rot in the post office because I’ll be damned if I’m taking time off to wait in that line on Atlantic Ave.
I have my laundry off the hall between the Living room and the 2 bedrooms.
It is behind a door, so we can ignore it when we are not using it.
I don’t like the look of laundry in the kitchen, but I would choose it over no in-unit laundry at all.
I am spoiled, having spent my entire life outside of New York.
The only time I have ever not had laundry in my unit was when living in dorms in college.
Even my first crappy apartment in Birmingham, Alabama had hook-ups, and I was more than happy to max out my credit card to buy the cheapest washer and dryer that Circuit City was selling.
my tenant got package other day. the postal worker musta rang his bell, then left package under stoop and knocked on my door. I thought was very nice of her.
that was last week, cobble. can’t you keep up?
(and got quite chilly down in ft. laud when I was there anyway – but did swim in ocean briefly 1 day)

“I was smart enough to realize this wasnt a debate I want to have, can win, nor care to win so I quickly screwed everything back and watched TV.”

My foolish nephew who is working (good thing) spent his earnings on some hd tv for his bedroom. I’m gonna ring his neck.
What a mean uncle.
so when we going, dona?
gross is sharing a washer dryer with people that have animals and pick up dog poo on the street.
