So, Cruella de Ville’s evil sister was supposed to leave at 1:15 for a doctor’s appointment. I conveniently scheduled a social meeting with friends on another floor from 12:30 to 1:00, but overstayed my welcome. I KNEW she would still be here. And she still is. She pulled this crap around Thanksgiving when she was supposed to leave for her daughter’s school play and didn’t. I was planning to leave as close to 2pm as possible. Curses, foiled again!
divorce your wife, or convince her to put the three kids into foster care or adoption. all problems, SOLVED! being raised by your actual parents is over rated anyway.
“75% of my fellow commuters are young single women”
Ugh. Sounds awful. Being serious here. I would sit in the all-male and women over the age of 40 car if they had one. I don’t want to stare at the front covers of Stieg Larssen books for an hour a day.
Dona is spot on. There are just days when it’s going nuts and I have to be plugged in. It used to be fine when I would be underground for 15 minutes, but now I’m underground for more like an hour, and it really harshes my mellow.
I won’t drive to work for lots of reasons (like wife needs car during the day and I’m not getting a second car if we’re in the city).
This isn’t that big a deal to fix. Pretty straightforward problem, pretty straightforward solution.
I’m leaving at 2:00. I need to get my shoes shined before heading to Penn Station.
