Friends of mine from Portland, OR go to BM for the Egyptian collection whenever they’re in town.
Marketing is really poor & pandering never works. They have a good stash of American Renaissance they should do instead of Japanese Anime
We do Colombian Trash Christmas on Christmas Eve. The tradition is to stay up until midnite. So we’ll be having empanadas, bunelos, chorizos, morcilla, and this disgusting dessert, the name of which I forget, which is made of condensed milk, corn starch, and coconut. At least the empanadas are edible.
Things look up Christmas Day when we go to my bro’s house. He’s married to an Italian so we get a wasp/italian combo of rib roast, pasta, and all kinds of better stuff.
I guess its a chicken or egg thing – do you spend the ad/marketing dollars, or do you have them to spend because you have been successful – but I support both BMA and BAM. We can’t afford a lot, but I’ve donated to both for 11 or 12 years running.
During the year, I get bombarded with programs and reminders and schedules and special insert postcards and seasonal calendar and full-year catalogues…from BAM.
BMA? I get something two, maybe three times a year.
BAM is sticking something in front of my eyeballs a good 20-30 times a year. By no means am I a major supporter. And its been the same thing every since I started.

No more ROTD, COTD & HOTD for the rest of the year.
…
SHUT IT DOWN
12 days with nothing to nitpick. Oh, my…this could get ugly.
See you folks on January 3rd.
I need to amend what I said about BAM marketing; 20-30 seems low. I bet I get 40 to 50 pieces of mail from them throughout the year.

dibs, sometimes I enjoy something so much I forget the camera. Taht’s why I’ll never be a pro.

denton, I would assume you have a pic of that forthcoming.
Scott,

When I got out of the R train on Prospect a few mins ago two women were standing on the street locked in a fabulous minutes-long tongue kiss.
