Why not? Since I don’t actually know you or your wife, it shouldn’t make much difference to you. But I do admit it’s fun to get you all worked up. Maybe I’ll try it again some time in the future.

Dona, I got mine also under duress. I went to Honduras, I thought, to visit my friend Rose. Turns out she wasn’t really expecting me and I needed to find stuff to do to fill up a three week vacation. I would have quit had there been another way to kill time. Glad I finished though, the final dive was amazing.
Right??? I was brought up with manners. Not to mention taste. When you get dragged kicking and screaming into an “event” like this, you’re supposed to be polite, and get something (a) that anyone would like; and (2) that you would want to get yourself. Where were these people raised???
And, yes, to them spending wayyyyyy too much time at work and having no lives!!!
These gifts are so bad that they aren’t regiftable. And I don’t think Goodwill would accept them!!
Yes, Bxgrl, we had a nice lunch at a local Cuban restaurant, shooting the breeze. She also brought my hat (I gave my sister the other one). Actually the one she gave me today fits even better than the other one.
