  1. RF- I am aware of that but it doesn’t relate to my question. He made a reference to the CC in Yazoo stopping the Klan when asked why Yazoo seemed to escape much of the violence of the civil rights movement.

  2. Scariest bunch of women I ever saw were at an ABT opening night performance at City Center. All these wealthy women of a certain age who were ballerina wannabees in their youth, and are now married to banker looking guys in expensive suits, were in the audience. Since it was opening night, they were all dressed to the nines. They are all stillfar too anorexic, too tan, and have skin pulled up so far and pinned back they look like Vincent D’onofrino in Men In Black, or worse yet, like they are in a wind tunnel test facility. There is such a thing as too thin and too rich.

  3. I have stuff to do and am going to sign off too but not before posting this. A few weeks ago I said there were no more real supergroups. I was wrong: Anonymous 4 fits all the supergroup criteria although they are a classical act. I was listening to them all day and they fit all the criteria.

    CRITERIA:

    1. Ideally 4 and no more than 5 core members who have been in the group from the start (in this case 4)

    2. Immediate and permanent commercial and critical success

    3. Regularly produces albums that are recocnizable unique and distinct but still always true to the group’s basic sound

    4. Evolving musical style (in this case from medieval chant to American folk back to classical Christmas music)

    5. Popular not just regionally or on the coasts but countrywide (I saw them in 1998 in Iowa, sold out; sold out now just about in D.C. for their tour)

    6. Album release/tour by the group is on of the top 2 or 3 industry storylines the year it happens
