What I can’t stand are restaurants where the music is so loud you can’t even talk to one another. And if it’s loud to me, with a mediocre hearing aid in one ear and 80% hearing loss in the other, I can only imagine how loud it is for people with normal hearing.
Snap, I saw it – wanted to slap both of them. Usually I just want to slap the buyer, most don’t know that there is a thing called paint. The buyers always complain about the paint colors and they all want stainless steel applicance, granite countertops and double sinks in the ensuite bathroom.

Even more bizarre to me are the bars which have 10 TV monitors going – with no sound – and music blasting over the sound system.

ha. seriously weird. there is this new pizza place that opened on houston that i go to sometimes and they have two GIANT screens (on the same wall) and the place is not even that big. they play spanish soap operas on them ahhahah. very loudly. it’s totally strange. but you cant beat the 2 slices for 3 bux lunch deal

No, not shilling, arkady. Actually, a few good folks I know are on the list, but “that woman”‘s inclusion seemed odd to me as well.
Why do so many restaurants need big tv screens now? It’s the last thing I want to look at when trying to enjoy a nice dinner after spending a full work day at a computer.
