i used to go to mets games sometimes (dont ask) and would get really pissy that beers were sooooo expensive, you werent allowed buy any after the 7th inning (wtf????) and they search your damn bags insanely!!

Oh Benson, it’s background noise. The longshoremen over here are all dolls. Real sweethearts, even through they are a little rough around the edges, but they would never be hostile and awful at the stadium, only fun. They made that “colorful” commentary out of the same spirit as my complaints, disappointment. DEFINATELY NOT SERIOUS.
And may I tell you, the hotdogs aren’t 10 dollars, they are 5 and they are Hebrew National and they are GOOD and the beer, well, I don’t know, I don’t really drink beer (only 1X a year when the temp gets to 100).
And Benson, in the spirit of the old Yankees, Kate Smith still sings God Bless America in the 7th inning and everyone also sings Take me out to the Ballgame…..EVERY GAME as well in the 7th inning.

Went and saw minor league on staten island, great space and right on the water. Cheap, but it almost seem as if the game was secondary with all of the “other” entertainment going on. Took forever and a day as well.
I could sure go for a $10, lukewarm beer right about now.
