it’s unfortunately, but children really DO ruin a lot of good things in this city. how fucking awesome would NYC really be with a no one over 16 policy?
—Junk food eaters who get to the end of the block and finish their Doritos, Cheese puffs, Ding dongs, Potato chips, 64 ounce coca cola and Kit Kats…..and throw the wrappers in front of my house.
—Passersby who use my garbage cans (full of real garbage waiting for pickup) to throw their recycleables, thereby earning me a sanitation ticket.
I went to an exhibition of the Silk Road at the Museum of Natural History. It is a bit too much for me. Good exhibit, good museum, good experience for the kids, but my nerves were shot after 2 hours, had to flee. For the reasons you describe, Lech.
Idiots who don’t figure out how to double-park during alt side. They stop opposite trees that tilt into street so trucks can’t get past or cars that haven’t moved.
L, that museum is a real shit-show. Last year Mrs. D just started a new job and couldn’t take time off, so I took a week off with da kid and we went museum-hopping. Hadn’t been there in years and it looks like it’s been turned into a giant playground/romper room.
And this was a weekday morning. I can’t even begin to imagine what it’s like on a weekend.
i mean no one over 16 ALLOWED policy.

People who annoy me:
—Junk food eaters who get to the end of the block and finish their Doritos, Cheese puffs, Ding dongs, Potato chips, 64 ounce coca cola and Kit Kats…..and throw the wrappers in front of my house.
—Passersby who use my garbage cans (full of real garbage waiting for pickup) to throw their recycleables, thereby earning me a sanitation ticket.
–The Flyer people.
it’s probably easier for me to make a list of people that don’t annoy me rather than a list of people who do annoy me.

Lech, would you have chewed them out if you were only with your baby & stroller?
