  1. Etson, It isn’t illegal if I don’t spend any money in Havana. (that would be a challenge) I would technically be “Trading with the Enemy” but this would not be tracked unless Cuba stamped my passport, which they don’t do. Hell, fatboy, Michael Moore MADE A MOVIE there. The government is still trying to get their fine. But for me? Nobody cares, really.

  2. One thing I hate is when the guvment mandates stuff it won’t do or pay others to do.

    After 9/11 a lot of changes made in fire codes in commercial buildings. Especially in the stairwells. Stairwells now have to have that glow-in-the-dark stuff everywhere. Handrails. Stair edges. Stair sides. Signs. Arrows. etc.

    I’m in a high profile federale building today and took the stairs into the basement with my appt. I noticed, no glow in the dark stuff.

    Guy says they’re the feds, they don’t have to follow NYC code.
