“I have not been in Canarsie in a while. I was glad to see that it is still one of the most pleasant areas of Brooklyn, though the demographics have changed from when I used to know alot of people there.”

To me, the transformation of Canarsie into a mostly black/Caribbean neighborhood is nothing short of miraculous. When I was a kid, a black person was literally taking his life into his hands by venturing into the area. You were made to know in no uncertain terms that you were not supposed to be there. My wife has a friend there now and when she first suggested we go into the neighborhood to visit a few years ago, I looked at her as if she were nuts.
I use Chrome and I really like it. No problems and if you type in something other than a web address, it takes you straight to Google. DH, where’s the beef?
“This avatar lacks gravitas.”
But it is SEXY!
lechacal, you keep claiming that you are being censored, then “nevermind!” Do you want to be censored so you can blogicide?

When I had the condo in Clinton Hill, one of the owners’ kids clogged up a toilet by flushing a mango pit.
Thanks Scott. It’s such a great organization, it’s really shameful what this guy did.
