I got your gift, M4L! LOL! And yes, BH and I have been eyeing the “Wallet Owl” for sometime. Reading menus in restaurants and small type gets harder with our non-youngin eyes! It’s in my bag right now!
It’s just a sample box,
The drug reps give out all sorts of
samples when they come around.
I had a bunch of boxes of that one lying
around my car so I threw that one in with
the Scarface Hip Flask and the
eco-friendly water bottle.
I had mentioned that the older man in my neighborhood who was putting out my garbage seemed to have left an increasing mountain of recycleables in my garbage area. I was wondering what was going on with him, since that isn’t like him.
I saw him today and he told me that he was burned out of his house. He lives in a rented apartment in the brownstone across the street, his lady friend in another apartment in the same building. It seems that the owner’s daughter’s apartment had an electrical fire and it spread quickly to the whole house.
Poor guy. The reason he didn’t do the garbage was that he was struggling to find a place to live!! He is temporarily settled at his neighbor’s house (that is what these neighbors are like, they really help one another out!!!).
