  1. Well, my dictionary gives the funeral connotation to eulogy (first definition), but says nothing about funerals for eulogize. I think we’re dealing in connotation, not definition. I was just trying to capture a tone commensurate with what was being said about Heather on FIPS.

    I am sure our grammar and usage commissioner, arkady, will have something to say about this.

    And, btw, arkady, I was saying congrats to dcb, not to Mrs. dcb.

    I hope he’ll brave these waters again and realize our ribbing was good natured and I hope Mrs. dcb wasn’t too put off.

  2. You should always believe what you read on the Internet. Additionally, it is a well known fact that visiting a city anywhere in the world through the internet is an excellent substitution for actually going there.
