I actually think the name of a boat is a good way to be an elitist asshat if it’s just the name and doesn’t make it obvious that it’s a boat. Then someone has to ask you what it means, and you can casually respond, “oh, just a little boat I have up in Provincetown.”
Totally different if there were a picture of a yacht and something that made it obvious that it’s your boat: then you’re the prole character played by Rodney Dangerfield in the golf movie with Bill Murray.
and if wearing silly expensive suits and ties and spending $250 on a hat makes sense to you fine, I hope it helps your self esteem.
I’ll spend my money the way I want. or not spend it.
My Christmas is going much better since Slopefarm and DH explained to me why we have Christmas tree lights. I don’t know how a person can go through their whole life and not know that.
