*rob*, you should come see the decorations in BH/CH. There is a giant light display of Hannah Montana sitting with Santa in his sleigh strung across the intersection of Atlantic & Court.

hmmm… and let me guess, down the block there’s a giant 40 foot ice sculpture of tyra banks, right?

    *rob*

  2. Aw bring out the stories Dona. Laughing at the furbs is the best way to cope.

Re the aggressive dumb lawyer, predictably he lost basically everything we were fighting about. In my line of work there really aren’t very many times when yelling gets you anything. Almost all points are won through intelligence and strategy. Some people yell a lot because they happen to be assholes or that’s how they deal with the stress, but the yelling is a sideshow and doesn’t really change much of anything. When someone get really yelly and aggressive in a dumb way and their strategy sucks it just makes me feel gross to have to deal with them, because I know they’re going to lose badly, and they don’t, and in the meantime it’s like being locked in a room with a 12 year old with tourettes.

  4. ringo and cgar, the strong place renderings and floor plans look hopeful. Site is wonky though. Big plus is that they have real hallways.

    dona, thanks for window info.

odd looking mansion/fortress on clinton ave bet dekalb and willoughby on west side of street with big front yard has all the lights up and looks nice.

  5. Lech, I have been suppressing these stories about my company because it is all so profoundly embarrassing, but yes, that is true. Sort of like you talking to the aggressive dumb lawyer who just made you embarrassed and sort of sad. Admittedly, it is kind of blackly humorous.
Particularly, considering the fact that these are the people running compliance.
