thanks arkady for that number. Been thinking about calling, I always hate to get workers at that level in trouble, but enuf is enuf. Maybe after I bitch I can send her a tip
denton – Bitch about it. My neighbors & I did – pointing out that The Times keeps moaning about drop in circulation & it might help if subscribers got their papers in a timely fashion. We now get it before 6 a.m. every day!! Granted, it used to be thrown over the gate under the stoop & is now just left in the front area but that’s a fair exchange for getting it both early & reliably.
I was given a special complaint phone number so you don’t have to go to that idiotic tree: 201 750 5275
Rob, all those lighting stores on bowery got priced out of their leases as trendy clubs, bars, restaurants invaded the area due to east village / alphabet city expansion. guess we can blame the moonfaces for that
quote:
Rob you should absolutely insist that they take it back. Bang on the counter and tell them you’re not leaving the store without your money back. Make sure to wear your fur coat that doesn’t quite reach your navel and the hat with the pink pigtails. And of course the hello kitty bag.
you just want me to get doubly arrested by the NYPD AND the fashion police dont you. bitch please i’ve made it a vow that as long as i live in nyc i will never ever wind up in the police blotter.
“I think the argument that people don’t innovate or work hard when taxes are high is kind of bs. I’ve never made a single career decision based on marginal tax rates. I’d be doing exactly what I’m doing now if taxes were higher. Or lower.
Regulation kills innovation. Not taxes.”
Hah, so true, L.
The one that really brought it home about this innovating class was Cindy McCain. Sits at home on her ass doing drugs while her family biz pays for it all.
Maybe there should be a tax class for those who actually innovate and work, and another for those who don’t.
