  1. CGar, I walked over one Sunday with my cousin to Chinatown. That was fun, but pretty crowded. I guess those winter walks were too much because they were too cold and windy.. Remember those strikes.

Re commodities, (realize this is a huge generalization) but we are poised for another leg up in many commodities, which corrected due to dollar strength (or actually Euro weakeness now recovering due to ECB intervention) and maybe an overreaction to the Chinese monetary tightening and some price controls. Grains, precious metals, COPPER (big London squeeze on), coffee, cocoa, energy recovering, hedge funds LOVE nat gas, –expectations are for La Nina cold winter, so the trend is changing. Natural gas now has the HIGHEST OPTION VOLATILITY out of all commodities after being deader than a doornail forever….

  2. Good idea re burning bodies DIBS. 1000 bodies a day is a lot. I mean that, what, 365,000 bodies a year? More than a million people dying on the Brooklyn Bridge every three years. Just incredible.
