Legion, thanks for the tip re: the Brooklyn Aces. I’ll definitely check it out with The Champs.
Legion/Jester, et.al.
I picked up this book for some ridiculously low price at B&N. It has a ton of fascinating facts about the making of the Beatles songs, such as what jester posted above. Highly recommend it if you’re a fan and you are interested in how the song came about, how it was recorded and tons of fun facts about the music/lyrics:
100 Best Beatles Songs: A Passionate Fan’s Guide
A Day in the Life is #1 – it’s my personal favourite too, next to Strawberry Hills Forever, which was coincidentally ranked #2 in the book
There’d be no Christmas without the Beatles.
ha ha ENY,
I wonder if “Kryon” is part of the Star Trek Federation.
“Beam me up Scotty, there’s no intelligent life here.”

You can call them for information–they are very helpful, speak English. The owner lives on Carroll St. in Park Slope.
I’ll keep looking.

Yes, Cobble, I go to Midnight mass at Queen of All Saints on Layfayette and Vanderbilt.
I think Cobble fancies herself “Queen of All Saints.”
He claims to have learned of the concept via conversations with a spiritual entity he calls “Kryon.”

Oh yeah, of course. As long as he got the information from a credible source.
Rob, Miss Kitty told me that she was trying to post on the OT but couldn’t get past the sensors here. 🙁
