oh yeah that 20% reduction in police in newark isnt going to bode well for them. the last time there was such a cut in police force, crime spiked 30%. (that was in the 70s tho)

i got punched in the back (HARD!) on the R train by some old man this morning :-/ so i turn around (moreso to just find out wtf just happened and who the hell it was and apologized and ran to the other side of the train and got off at the next stop!). i wasnt in his space or anything, he was sitting on those double seaters on the inside by the window and i was sitting on the outside seat near the end as i dont like my clothes rubbing up against anyone elses. i assume he was just crazy, but it was so weird.

Hiya, Plusas. Hi Pete. No blow up elves, please. I just came back from Florida where these things are the rage. They let them sit in plastic piles during the day and blow them up at night. I was trying to keep snarky comments to myself.

Re trees, yeah, I am debating what to do. Size is the issue – I want a skinny one but I am up to check out BTM.
Your 401 k should be converted to an IRA rollover upon your retirement. Most places should be able to do that, like Schwab.
I would appreciate the list. But I would have to convert my 401k type plan to an IRA to do that. Otherwise just have the mutual funds that are in my plan.
