I’m assuming the “we are family thing” was spearheaded by consultants who then profited off of the gd seminars, FU to McKinsey, drop dead to deloitte, es to e&y.
At the leadership seminar, the psychologist asked me privately if my family had experienced starvation or political oppression. (!@#!!. I shit you not!) I think she read me as some kind of East Coast ethnic with an attitude problem (you betcha. I was FORCED to go to that)
They PAID for that.
Delepp, I lived Enron. That was my exit strategy from Kansas City. Well…I needed one anyway. And 2008 is still a kind of bad dream, I am gradually waking up from.
Just don’t tell me we are family. I hear that and I get nuts.
“I told my economist friend/colleague about the latest in a series of these kind of experiences (I was sent to a leadership seminar in North Carolina) and I told her I was NOT GOING TO TALK. They would NOT BREAK ME. ha.”
BAH HA HA HA HA! I hate those things with a PASSION!

Donatella, Benson and I have seem similar or worst in our telco space – especially if one is on the equipment vendor side
we figured that is what you meant. We all know that corporations have no morals.
benson, Nike’s “Just Do It” and Apple’s “Innovate” are up there with “Think”
etson, as long as boss also considers that 1/2 day off. if it’s good enough for them to sneak out early, good enough for me.
