listen,
let’s bring this back to hard ideas which
was my original intent,
and this could be my last point on the matter if you’d
like.
Basically,
Eric Holder is attempting to run this enterprise
as a criminal matter, rather than a military matter.
I just listed posts to two instances where civilian trials resulted in huge security risks.
We just had this terroist from the embassy bombings acquitted of 284 charges of murder and convicted on a single count of conspiracy. That was too close in my opinion. And it wasn’t for a lack of evidence.
How to test my theory,
Let’s see if Eric Holder chooses to proceed with Khalid Muhammed’s trial in NYC as he intended.
From the start I said it was a ridiculous idea.
I waited 11 months to prove my point about the Senate.
I was proven right in the end.
I’ll wait again.
All I ask is that you acknowledge that there are other lines of thought that may differ from your own and may in fact be right.
legion, American system based on better ten guilty people should go free than one innocent person go to jail. May be some of these terrorists are so surprised that one of theirs walked they may have to re-evaluate. Remember it’s about hearts and minds also.
a jumpsuit sounds fun. im sure it’s better than what im wearing today. have to do some serious laundry and all that i had left that was cleaned was a pair of striped jean lady bell bottoms! :-/
maybe DH will see me outside today to verify my fashion faux pas. if homeland security doesnt get me, the fashion police will first.
Legion, I agree with people when I think they are correct. I am perfectly capable, and I think I usually demonstrate that, of stating my own opinions, and backing up my own points.
But, I have better things to do than argue with you today. You twist what people say to match your mindset, and then riff off of that. Whoever you are talking to then spends all their time and energy trying to disprove a negative. In the process, tempers flare and the whole thing flames out of control. Then you think you’ve proved your point. That is not a debate. I will debate policy, political positions, the people involved, whatever. But I’m not going to trade insults with you, or let you obfuscate the issue by twisting what I’ve written. Anyone with a modicum of reading comprehension can understand what I mean, and most do.
legion- I ended it by proving the my liberal, democratic family- and myself- have made a commitment to this country. Something you have said that we don’t have. Learn the lesson here- you may not agree with my politics, but that doesn’t give you the right to assume anything about how I feel, or my love of country. You have no corner on the patriotism market- and there are millions of liberals and Dems who prove my point.
If I were a parent I would want a black sheep like Legion.
Arkady, no longer a cheap way to ship small stuff overseas since USPS got out of the sea shipping biz. Book dealers have been screaming about this.

I remember that, cobble. I’ll take his dad anyday!

“Anyway, rob won’t have to spend time in jail, he can experience it on the internet.”
Snort!
dona, Don’t tell him that. He needs to think about his verbal tendencies and learn something from this.
