If that’s true, legion, a KFC is still not cultural. It’s economic- the economics of greed. If you don’t think it should be there, perhaps you’re more to the left than you think? 🙂
I think it is 101 degrees in my office. Speaking of apologies, I made a kind of sideways apology to the Japanese senior guy who I lectured in a red-faced fury last Thursday. I really need some time off, a good time, improvement in my love life, something…… Or perhaps a new and BETTER job.

2. What do you mean by “objection to american capitalism”?
3. Which majors are you claiming are “in tune” with opposition to american capitalism and why?
4. What do you meen by “often seek majors” — do you mean left wingers in college selectinmg majors, or left wing organizations (however you define them) hiring those who have degrees on those majors?
5. On what data are you relying?
6. Is this a present tense hypothesis or will we be revisiting the Weather Underground again?

Seriously getting flashbacks to that sociology course
I took and realized 2 days from the final that
I hadn’t read like 3 of the books.

I’ll look that up, dibs. It sounds interesting. Not sure i think mass media has replaced religion but i do think it has affected how we think in general (not necessarily in a good way either.)
Legion- a free thinker is much more open to other ideas than you seem to be. Your whole mindset is about insisting how the right is all good and the left is evil. Of course the Left and the Right are as defined by you. You post the same rants nearly everyday- the Left is this, the Left is that. I find your thinking rigid and in lockstep with the cult of uber-right.
