Close to the G at Classon. If you feel threatened, you can walk through Pratt if they let you. Or you can walk up Classon, alongside the projects, past the 88th Precinct house, and the block between Pratt and a bunch of Hasid staggered balcony apartment buildings, past the convent that was just sold and will be developed into something or other. An interesting walk for sure!
I am being pressured in this company to buy a sheep or some livestock for a Christmas present for poor people. There is some organization that does this apparantly. This is in lieu of any other kind of gift giving here. Not that I really want a Kris Kringle gift or I really care very much, but I don’t feel like buying livestock for strangers. 🙁 I already give money to charity. Why must everything be some kind of character building thing?
I hate this kind of pressure.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA 11217 great find. Here, let me just copy that paragraph for Rob to make sure he sees it:
“Williamsburg is the Berkeley of New York,†Tracy Kinney said as she left King’s, pushing her daughter Rowan in a stroller and juggling her son Caspian. “If anyplace is going to reject a chain store, it’s Williamsburg”
Does nobody (other than Slopey) understand the difference between a pun and a stupid question?

Oddly enough, I had a similar thought when BH and I were over there recently. It has something of a similar vibe going on.
Rowan is a boy’s name.
Caspian from Prince Caspian?
