slopey – have you had the mac and cheese at lot2?
i really liked the vibe of that place and would like to go back, just can’t justify spending 1.5 hours on the subway to do so when i have better options a 5 minute walk away. haha
I like Lot 2 a lot, but not for the burger. Better to go with a chicken or fish entree. They do great things with locavore veggies — they are Grenwood CSA members and on Saturdays June-Oct. you get stuff picked early that morning. But not a burger place. If your taste runs in the meat and potatoes direction, not the place for you.

Yes, I have to second benson– Red Robin burgers pretty good. still haven’t tried Five Guys, which is also a multi-state chain.
I like Five Guys too!
I don’t think Bennigans exists anymore.
hey, benson

Checkers are OK but Five Guys IS much better
They’re OK bxgrl but nothing special. There’s a checkers on Court as well.
My fave chain burger in the area is Five Guys (on 7th opposite Methodist)
“Yeah well I went there based upon that recommendation, and I didn’t know what all the fuss was about.”
same here – i took the R train all the way down to god’s country greenwood heights to try that thing.
DH just wants a date to Lot 2 and figured 11217 might foot the bill.
And I don’t read porn, I watch it. I just said “read” as I caught up on yesterday’s discussion.
A Checkers just opened off Fulton St and Nostrand- anyone know how those burgers are?
