    Rob made a reference about people who shop in Downtown Brooklyn that smelled like racism.

    “i really really also hope this doesnt sound too messed up to say, but most shops that cater to people on government assistance to begin with always do well regardless of the economy. millions of people are losing their jobs and have to cut back, but welfare and benefits money is still there. actually i might be sounding ignorant, do people still get welfare money or is it just in the form of housing assistance and food benefits?

    This is what I’m talking about. This blog is majority homeowner. Strong and celebrated opinions about price declines get flagged as insults (but never by lechacal, Miss Muffet or other renters). There is now a surge in complaints because the unthinkable is happening (shut up, dave).

  6. I actually like benson a great deal. He just gets touchy and I have to slap him back into shape 🙂

    But really, I also learn a great deal from him (I’m sure he would say the same about me but I’d be afraid to ask him what he learned)
