m4l, that’s very interesting. I’ve only had this during the past year, but when I get this cough — a perpetual tickle in my throat — it won’t go away and goes on ALL day and all night long.
CGar- I never had a problem putting an animal to sleep when it was time- until today. I bottle raised Moose and I’ve had him almost 18 years. I’m really good about things like this- just not today. But he’s not in pain. His kidneys will give out- but at least I’ll have him a little bit longer. If he is in pain I won’t hesitate but it is seriously heartbreaking. I’d like him to go in his sleep too.
Biff, not exactly, no, and it might be hilarious if you’re not the one suffering from coitus interruptus. Suffice to say that, to her dismay, I am always careful to lock CDog out of my bedroom, as her presence is not conducive.
CGar, if you’ve ever had a severe virus infection in your bronchial tube (ie bad viral cold/fever), the tube will be sensitive going forward. any subsequent similar viral (even if very mild) will trigger you to cough a ton (ie as if bad allergic reaction). I have this so when that’s the case, I ask Doc to prescribe me some allergy meds on top of the anti-biotic or whatever meds that are for the cold.
I alwsys remove the cat from the room, he gives me a dirty look. And not the kind of dirty look my wife gives me.

Nothing worse than a cat sitting on the bed watching you get it on. Then trying to sniff things. Horror!
Mrs C usually locks me out of the bedroom when she’s having sex.
🙁

The situation I described = ménage à paw
“trying to avoid the obvious can’t be vertigo / you’re not very high up joke”
Try harder, PB. 🙂
