Lech, get them a telescope instead. It’s much more fun than using a microscope, especially in densely populated areas.”

My 14-year-old has Stairway to Heaven on her ipod. And I loved listening to a discussion between her and a classmate (a countrymate of the goat boy) last week about Aqualung.
This is the stuff I can’t WAIT to enjoy when I have kids
Biff’s link makes sense. In England we have a phrase “as thick [i.e. dumb] as mud”, although these days people tend to use ‘pig shit’ instead of ‘mud’.

You said:
“do any of you know where the phrase “Your name is mud.” came from????”
Came from does not equal being popularized.
Epic fail.
