  1. Shouldn’t that be “skreet”?

Move to Crown Heights. You won’t have to worry about your gates being stolen.

Let them keep doing that, denton. It will keep prices right where I need them so that I can buy sooner rather than later.

  2. I had a rare lunch w my bro today, who’s high up in a non-tarp int’l bank, and he told me an interesting theory he heard.

He said the foreclosure crisis is a trillion dollar stimulus. Why? People fall behind on their mortgages and then when the foreclosure process starts, which often takes a long time, they pay neither mortgage or rent. While it’s true some are unemployed, not all are, and many collect some form of bennies. So that extra money from no mortgage or rent is stimulative cuz it gets spent on other things.

  3. etson, I actually think it’s DIBS and his bed stuy crew – realizing he can drink on his stoop with that gate in place. in clinton hill, we pretty welcoming – we dont put up gates to keep people out (ie riff raff like Rob doesnt live in our hood)

  4. quote:
P.S. (post script, not Park Slope.) I’ve heard from several neighbors & there were 4 or 5 gates stolen on Lincoln Pl. & cops said more were gone from Berkeley & from President.

well my rent is due in a week!

    kidding, kidding

    *rob*
